The course was excellent. Meeting every two weeks made the assignments more manageable. While the discussions weren’t strictly structured—meaning we didn’t just go question by question—that actually allowed us to explore some of the most compelling, challenging, and even confusing aspects of the study. The facilitator was excellent, allowing space for silence until the discussion gained momentum. At the right moments, they added helpful thoughts and were open to letting us explore different directions when the conversation was flowing.
The audio resources were great and helped me get through the material while driving, etc. While we didn’t focus too much on the reflection questions during our discussion sessions, they were helpful in getting my mind around the material.
I appreciated the inclusion of diverse perspectives, like those from C.S. Lewis. The facilitator did a great job—being transparent and encouraging everyone to participate.
